Girish Ram Mali leads a research group at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, investigating how cells assemble the axonemal dynein motors that power the beating of cilia and flagella. Loss of the assembly factors his group studies leads to primary ciliary dyskinesia.
