The LifeArc Centre focuses on rare and ultra-rare respiratory diseases that affect adults and children. It brings together patients, researchers, clinicians and industry to turn scientific discoveries into real-life solutions. The patient-first approach creates meaningful research that helps to accelerate the treatment and understanding of a variety of diseases.
The group is also developing a central biobank that stores patient samples and clinical data for use in understanding, modelling and treating rare respiratory diseases.
Fiona Copeland (representing PCD Support) is a patient representative for this project.
